It’s International Writing Centers Week

Celebrate International Writing Center’s Week with the Writing Center. We have events scheduled all week. Here’s what’s happening:

Creative Writing Contest

The Writing Center will have tutors posted at Einstein’s from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 4 to 6 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 15 and Tuesday, Feb. 16, promoting the Writing Center’s first-ever writing contest. Submit your poem, short story, or creative non-fiction piece and plan to share it at our Open Mic Night. Watch the Bridge for an online submission form as well.

Writing Center Open House

Stop by the Writing Center’s Open House on Wednesday, Feb. 17! Take a tour of the Writing Center, chat with the Writing Fellows, and have some cake! The Open House will be held from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Open Mic Night

Thursday, Feb. 18 is Open Mic Night. Come and present your poem or story, fiction or nonfiction. Each person may read for three to four minutes. Sign up at the event! Time and location are TBD, so stay tuned for further announcements.
