Griffin Observatory Open House Oct. 7

The Carthage Institute of Astronomy will host an open house at the Griffin Observatory from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7. The observatory is located on the grounds of the Kemper Center, 6501 Third Ave. in Kenosha.

The event is free to attend and open to the public, including children. Visitors are invited to use the observatory’s 11-inch Celestron telescope.

The Griffin Observatory was made possible by the joint cooperation of the Kemper Center, Kenosha County, and Carthage College.
