Nick Mulvey graduated from Carthage in 2002 with a degree in business administration and marketing. A native of Racine, Wisconsin, he returned to Carthage in 2008 to join the Office of Admissions as a Director of Admissions.
In 2012, he was named Dean of Admissions, overseeing the day-to- day operations of the admissions team. Since 2015, he has served as the Vice President for Enrollment.
As the College’s chief enrollment officer, Nick oversees full-time undergraduate admissions and financial aid, while working with the President, faculty, and Executive Staff to develop and implement the College’s enrollment strategy. Under his leadership, the College has reached its all-time highest enrollment.
Life before Carthage:
“Before coming to Carthage, I worked for several years as an account executive for a large recruiting firm in Chicago. I also did a short stint in Florida for a golf course design firm.”
Best college search tip:
“It’s not always the most scientific method of making a decision, but I think you really need to go with your gut when it comes to selecting a school. You’ll do your best at the school where you feel most excited to be.”

“It’s truly inspiring to see students transform from freshmen not really sure what the future holds, to confident, successful, articulate graduates ready to take on the world.”

“Homecoming. Every year it’s great to see the excitement shared by both students and alumni.”

What can you recommend while visiting Kenosha?
“Pizza. I heard a statistic that Kenosha has more pizzerias per capita than most cities you’ll find. Of course we’ve got the chains that everyone is familiar with, but some of the local joints are fantastic.”
