A graduate of Lake Forest College, Liz spent seven years as a part of the student involvement team at her alma mater, most recently serving as assistant director of the Gates Center for Leadership and Personal Growth. Her work there focused on leadership development, major campus events, fraternity and sorority life, orientation, campus events registration processes, and advising the Student Activities Finance Board. She also served as the primary staff member for the Engage student organization platform and assisted with case management for their Early Action Support Team. Prior to her time at Lake Forest College, Liz was a member of the executive office staff at Alpha Phi International (Women’s) Fraternity in Evanston, IL. Liz was initiated into Alpha Phi in 2007 at Lake Forest College and has also served in a number of volunteer roles for the organization since her collegiate years.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology and anthropology from Lake Forest College, and a Master of Science in education, adult and higher education from Northern Illinois University.
Some of Liz’s favorite things include Cubs baseball, traveling, cooking, and spending time at the beach. She also loves celebrating holidays, and if you ask her about her favorite movie, “Home Alone,” she’ll be able to recite the entire movie word for word!
