Ryan is originally from the state of Arkansas. Faith and family are the primary pillars in his life. He is a BIG fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks, so he was extremely excited to attend the University of Arkansas for his undergraduate and graduate degrees. He was passionately involved in student leadership, whether it was being an RA, NRHH president, or attending alternative spring break service trips. He loved being involved in housing and residence life so much, he decided to make it his career.
After graduating from the University of Arkansas, he continued to work in campus housing as a residence life coordinator for four years at Texas Tech University, a complex coordinator for five years at Northern Illinois University, and as the assistant director for occupancy management for five years at the University of Texas at Austin.
Ryan is excited to serve as the director of residential life at Carthage College, where he can be closer to family in the Kenosha area. He enjoys spending time on campus enjoying various programs and events with his wife, Liz (Carthage Class of 2010), and his three children.
