Patrick Sobkowski is the Career Specialist for Public Service and Social Impact. He works with students interested in pursuing careers in education, psychology, social work, government, law, public policy, criminal justice, sociology, environmental and geospatial science, international political economy, social entrepreneurship, and other related areas.
Patrick graduated from Carthage in 2018 with honors in History. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2021, where he was a member of the law review and externed for the Honorable Sharon L. Kennedy of the Ohio Supreme Court.
In his free time, Patrick writes on the American presidency and its relationship with American conservatism. He has published several academic articles on the subject. He also enjoys collecting records, keeping active, and spending time with his girlfriend, also a Carthage alumnus, and their cat, Reggie.
