Assistant Athletic Trainer at Southeastern University
As assistant athletic trainer at Southeastern University, Carla Ikert ’18 works with both the football and tennis teams to provide injury care, prevention, and rehabilitation. While at Carthage, Ms. Ikert won the Outstanding Major Award for athletic training and is very thankful for the Carthage athletic training faculty for encouraging her and teaching her critical skills that she uses in her role every day.

How did Carthage prepare you?
“Carthage’s Athletic Training Program prepared me for the real world of athletic training. The transition into my position was smooth and I felt confident in my abilities when I began my position.”
