Peter Koscinski ’20, MSc ’21 is a business solutions consultant at SVA Consulting in Madison, Wis. His job includes helping businesses transition to a cloud-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and devising plans and processes to solve problems for those companies.

What have you enjoyed most about your career?
“I enjoy how dynamic the atmosphere is, the complexity of the work I am involved in, and the breadth of subjects I am able to learn about.”
How did Carthage prepare you?
“The business design and innovation program curriculum, created by Prof. Barron and Professor Jennifer Madden, helped me become an adaptable learner. From emotional intelligence to systems thinking, everything I learned has made me a better professional.”

What Carthage professors played a part in your success and how?
“Prof. Barron is one of the most important connections I have made at Carthage. He empowered me to pursue a start-up idea my friend and I were developing for years. Working on the start-up has given me needed perspective and experience that has helped in my career.”

“Work hard, never settle, and when things are overwhelming, take a deep breath to keep things in perspective.”
