Career goal

“One day, I would love to be recognized worldwide for my musicality and to be featured in movies.”

Favorite class

“So far, my favorite class has been my private cello lessons because my instructor, Professor Peter Thomas, takes the time to attend to what I like to do rather than just what he wants to teach. We study different techniques of how to create music on the cello — it’s really fun and interesting.”

Campus involvement

“I am the president of the Martial Arts Club. We meet three times a week, and it’s always a blast.”

Scholarships

“I received the Modern Language Scholarship for Chinese. This scholarship means everything to me as I would not be attending Carthage without it.”

What would your 8-year-old self think of you now?

“My 8-year-old self would think that I am on the right path to my dream of stardom.”

Why Carthage?

“My mom used to teach at Carthage, so I knew the campus quite well, and it was a big part of my childhood. Another reason I chose Carthage was because I was granted a generous scholarship.”
