“I received the Modern Language Scholarship for Chinese. This scholarship means everything to me since I would not be attending Carthage without it.”

Favorite class

“So far, my favorite class has been my private cello lessons because my instructor, Professor Peter Thomas, takes the time to attend to what I like to do rather than just what he wants to teach. We study different techniques of how to create music on the cello — it’s really fun and interesting.”

Campus involvement

“I am the president of the Martial Arts Club. We meet three times a week, and it’s always a blast.”

Career goal

“One day, I would love to be recognized worldwide for my musicality and to be featured in movies.”
