Emily lives on campus with her dog, Kaiba, and her cat, Rosie Mae. Kaiba is an older dog who absolutely loves people. Kaiba can be seen taking slow walks around campus frequently, so please feel free to say hello to him! Emily also enjoys people and appreciates when students stop to talk to her about what they are learning in class, exciting Netflix shows they are watching, or any great books they have read. Emily is currently attending UW-Stevens Point for her doctorate in education and spends much of her time reading, writing, and researching for her program.
Emily has worked professionally in residence life departments for three years at two different schools. She has worked on special projects including interpersonal violence assessment and social justice initiatives. Her passion areas include social justice-related topics and projects and connecting making connections with students.
