Biography
Mandy is an alumna of Carthage. While she was a student, she pursued her passion for science majors in neuroscience, chemistry, and psychology, and a biology minor. She participated in a number of research programs on campus in both the Chemistry and Psychology Departments and worked as a lab assistant in the neuroscience rat lab.
After graduating in 2018, she began teaching high school biology and chemistry in the Kenosha community and loved getting students excited about the complexities of science.
Mandy completed her Master of Education in May 2022 and joined the Aspire team in fall 2022 as the career specialist for science and pre-health.

Main responsibilities at Carthage
Mandy works as the career specialist for science and health and co-chair for the Pre-Health Advising Committee in The Aspire Center, Carthage’s four-year career and purposeful life development program. She helps students interested in science and health fields to find experiences, potential career paths, and professional programs.

In her free time, Mandy is likely doing a Disney puzzle while eating a bowl of popcorn and hanging out with her German Shepherd, Piper, and husband, Justin ’18.
