Mandy is an alumna of Carthage. While she was a student, she pursued her passion for science majors in neuroscience, chemistry, and psychology, and a biology minor. She participated in a number of research programs on campus in both the Chemistry and Psychology Departments and worked as a lab assistant in the neuroscience rat lab.
After graduating in 2018, she began teaching high school biology and chemistry in the Kenosha community and loved getting students excited about the complexities of science.
