Debra comes to Carthage College with 30 years’ experience in collegiate career counseling and teaching, and prior work experience in advertising and music performance.
She earned a B.A. in Anthropology (with field work among the Kaibab Paiutes), a Certificate in Russian and East European Studies, and an M.A. in History, all from UW-Milwaukee, and is a two-time honor graduate of the Summer Program in Polish Language and Culture at the Catholic University in Lublin, Poland. She is also certified in the Strong Interest Inventory and Gallup Strengths Finder.
Debra brings a passionate commitment to assisting Carthage students on prepare for careering journey. She especially enjoys interpreting career search inventories and helping students effectively tell their stories in their resumes and cover letters.
