Are you looking for a group to play a campaign of Dungeons and Dragons? Or maybe you want to play a quick game and give Call of Cthulhu a try? Whatever the case, the Tabletop RPGs Club is devoted to playing and aiding the play of tabletop RPGs on campus — and we are more than willing to help! If you should want to heed the call, and set forth for adventure- look no further!
6 p.m. on Fridays in the David A. Straz Jr. Center for the Natural and Social Sciences, room 157
What are some of your org's major events and activities?
We hold weekly sessions in which we play one-shot adventures in different systems (e.g.,: such as Dungeons & Dragons, Fiasco, Shadowrun, Call of Cthulhu, and many more! We also work on many long-term projects, such as the creation of a Club Monster Manual, and other projects related to the hobby.
Why should people join this organization?
If you’re interested in getting into tabletop RPGs as a hobby, we have plenty of experienced members that are happy to help you with everything you’ll need to get started. The Tabletop RPGs Club also serves as a common place to establish and promote new playgroups on campus; so if you’re looking to play, here’s a good place to start!
Who can join?
All members of the Carthage College community — people newly interested in the hobby and experienced players alike — are welcome to show up to any session and play whatever system we’re running that day. Additionally, anyone may also sign up on our LFG (Looking for group) sheet if they are looking for a group to play with on campus, regardless if they have shown up to a session or not.
