    Tina Schmitz is an adjunct faculty member of Carthage’s Master of Education Program. Tina is semi-retired and the former vice president for finance and chief financial officer for Carthage College, Kenosha Unified School District, and several other southeast Wisconsin organizations.

    Ms. Schmitz has over 35 years of business experience with a concentration in accounting and finance. She has notable leadership experience with responsibilities for finance, strategic planning, budget development, human resources, information systems, and administration.

    She holds a Master of Science degree specializing in leadership for higher education from Capella University, a Bachelor of Arts in business from Carthage College, and an Associate of Applied Science degree in accounting from Gateway Technical College.

    Ms. Schmitz serves on several local non-profit boards, including Kenosha County Food Bank, Tall Oaks Academy, and Tempo Kenosha. In addition, Tina volunteers in the Hospice House at Hospice Alliance in Pleasant Prairie.

    Tina lives in Pleasant Prairie with her husband and is the proud mother of two grown children. When not working or volunteering, Tina is traveling, hiking, kayaking, or spending time with her loved ones.
