Brandi advises new, first-time freshmen and provides additional support services for upperclassmen in the Division of Arts and Humanities. In addition to serving as a College Success Seminar instructor, Brandi oversees social media and military-affiliated student outreach for the Center.
Prior to coming to Carthage in 2019, Brandi served as a mentor, college access advisor, research consultant, and youth leadership advocate for underrepresented and underserved students through Waukegan to College, a not-for-profit organization in Waukegan, IL. Brandi also brings experience in community organizing with Lake County United, where she has worked on projects in affordable housing for vulnerable individuals and access to mental health services for youth. She is an AmeriCorps alumnus.
