“Professor Paul Martino is the kindest and most caring individual I have met at Carthage, and he truly wants the best for his students. Prof. Martino has taught me how to be a great student and has inspired me to be the best person I can be.”
“My favorite class at Carthage was Kinesiology with Professor Andrew Pustina. In this class, I learned so much about the anatomy of the human body and how the body moves. Through this class, I realized that I want to become a physical therapist.”
“The toughest class at Carthage was Systemic Physiology. During this class, we learned the functions of all the body systems and how they are connected. We were required to explain how these systems would be affected by various internal and external factors.”
Favorite moments and memories at Carthage
“Many of my favorite memories have come from being on the men’s golf team at Carthage. Traveling and hanging out with my best friends on the team have created my best memories.”

“The biggest surprise is how many students on campus I know and recognize.”

“My 8-year-old self hated science so he would have not approved.”
Why should other students consider your major? What advice do you have for them?
“I would recommend knowing what you want to do after graduating from college as an EXSS major. This will allow you to take the necessary classes and get certifications to prepare you for graduate school/work.”
