Danny Dwaine Wells-Ehrisman
Danny Dwaine Wells II is an alumnus of both Los Angeles County High School for the Arts and San Diego State University’s BFA Dance program. Mr. Wells lives in Chicago, Illinois. After living in many locations, he strongly believes home is where one helps create brave spaces for everyone in their community. He stands by his mantra that “All bodies are dance bodies.”
In pursuit of his passion for supporting young artists in following their dreams, Mr. Wells is finishing their undergraduate degree at Carthage while being an adjunct faculty member. He has strong intentions of continuing for his MFA in Musical Theatre to take steps towards his dream of being a Tony Award-winning choreographer. He creates dance works from his diverse dance training background and the productions that have graced his career path.
Mr. Wells has been recognized for his choreography in theaters across the country. He has trained with The Debbie Allen Dance Academy, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Diavolo Dance Theater, and Zenon Dance School. He has worked on projects with artists such as Fatima Robinson, Charm Ladonna, Ciara, Courtney Miller, Katie Spelman, Ka-Ron B. Lehman, Matthew Rushing, Robert Marra, Jerry Mitchell, Titus Burgess, Chris Brown, Queen Latifah, Alex Newell, and Raja from Season 1 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race.”
