“My career goal is to work in film, either by being a director or a producer. I would love to run my own production company and help produce independent pictures and blockbusters.”

“Many of my professors have helped me through not only my college career but also my personal life by being incredibly understanding and supportive. Professor Jojin Van Winkle has helped me obtain many jobs in the past two years by recommending me to employers.”
“I’ve liked all my classes for different reasons, but I was very surprised by how helpful my Management class was. It taught me useful leadership and management skills that will help me succeed in my career.”
“My Statistics class has been my toughest class so far because there were so many new concepts that we were learning at a rapid pace.”
Favorite moments and memories at Carthage
“I really enjoyed when one of the fraternities on campus threw a $5 prom. It was the most fun night I have had on campus.”
Biggest surprise so far
“The biggest surprise was how many opportunities have opened up to me at my young age. I am really excited to see what other opportunities may present themselves in my future.”
What would your 8-year-old self think of you now?
“My 8-year-old self would be giggling and be happy about the fact that I’m making movies.”
Why should other students consider your major? What advice do you have for them?
“Finance is important for everyone because knowing how money and business overlap will help you in any career you choose. Also, through this major, you can learn how to be a better leader and a better person.”
