    Tim Melevin is an assistant professor of the tax and advanced accounting courses at Carthage.

    Before Carthage, he instructed tax and accounting courses as an assistant professor in the master’s program at Montana State University. Tim has also instructed/lectured in the accounting programs at the University of Illinois-Chicago, Western Washington University, Loyola University, DePaul University, and Indiana University.

    Tim has been a tax manager for two of the Big Four accounting firms: Deloitte and Price Waterhouse. He has instructed tax courses nationwide to Price Waterhouse personnel, operating from the national office in New York City.

    Tim has managed his own CPA practice in the Chicago area with an emphasis on the emerging business sector. In this role, he has consulted mid-sized businesses, primarily in the areas of taxation, financial accounting, consolidations, and systems development.
