The Carthage Chemistry Club is an active member of the American Chemical Society, and has been recognized by ACS with Honorable Mention Chapter Awards. The club meets biweekly to organize outreach events at local schools or on campus, plan and attend social events, celebrate National Chemistry Week, and create a strong community within the Carthage Chemistry Department. Club members participate in many events on campus, including Homecoming and Passport to Science, which brings children to Carthage science labs for hands-on activities.
