Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization that works to provide low-income housing for families in need and raise general awareness of homelessness around the world. Our chapter is student-lead and seeks to educate and inform the campus while staying involved in the community. Members participate in Professor Helps, Kenosha Builds, and the National Collegiate Challenge.
Wednesdays at 9:15 p.m. in the Jockey A of the TWC.
What are some of your org's major events and activities?
We host many events on and off campus but our largest are the Annual Habitat Benefit Concert and the Collegiate Challenge, a week long service trip that takes place over spring break.
Why should people join this organization?
People should join because it is a excellent way to get involved on campus and give back to the community. You will also make a lot of new friends and because Habitat is a nationally recognized service organization it looks pretty darn good on a resume.
Who can join?
Anyone with a passion for helping their community!
