April 15Student Government will host a raffle April 16-20 to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association of Wisconsin. For every dollar donated, students will get one raffle ticket to win a ten dollar gift card to a restaurant in the Kenosha area.

April 8Each year, the English Department conducts a competition for the best essays on a Shakespeare play. Winners receive scholarships for the annual fall trip to the Stratford Shakespeare Festival.

April 8You are invited to attend a field trip to see “Macbeth” on Sunday, April 29 at the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre on Navy Pier. This production is directed by Teller (of Penn and Teller). The cost to attend this filed trip is $10 and includes bus transportation.

April 5Students in Professor Tracy Gartner’s Environmental Science class were assigned to choose a case study topic about sustainability and what Carthage can change in order to become more sustainable. This project is about the Zero Waste Initiative, which redesigns the harmful production-consumption-disposal system so that we can create less pollution.
