Student research programs
The Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) pairs Carthage students with faculty for summer research. Students selected for this competitive program spend the summer on campus, working closely with their faculty mentors on new or developing lines of research. All SURE students and faculty mentors meet weekly for lunch, during which students present their progress. At the end of the program, students are required to write a project report. Many go on to present their research at regional and national conferences.
