Carthage is excited to celebrate the achievements of your graduate! We understand parents have many questions about Commencement, and most can be answered on the FAQ page.

If you have questions beyond what is on the website, please instruct your graduate to contact us by emailing commencement@carthage.edu. FERPA protects some information, and the College can only share specific details directly with your graduate.

Ticketing

All graduates are allowed eight (8) ticketed guests for the Commencement Procession. Each guest will remain with their graduate throughout the duration of the events in a “graduation pod” in observance of physical distancing and #StaySafeCarthage guidelines.

Upon completing the Virtual Grad Gear Up Form, tickets will be emailed directly to all 2022 graduates in early April. Tickets cannot be sent directly to family members or guests. It will be up to the graduates to share digital tickets among their eight allocated guests.

If a graduate does not need all eight allotted tickets, they may not be shared or given to other graduates due to physical distancing and #StaySafeCarthage guidelines. All tickets will be specific to each graduate’s student ID number to aid any potential contact tracing efforts after the Commencement ceremony. All children, including infants, require a ticket.

Unfortunately, additional tickets will not be available for any reason. A live stream will be available to view for all events for those families and guests that cannot attend in person.

Restricted Mobility

Accommodations for graduates and guests with restricted mobility include an alternative procession route and limited handicap seating. Handicap seating will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis in each assigned segmented arrival time.
Graduates, request a limited mobility ticket
