Routing & Authorization Timeline
The Routing & Authorization Timeline serves as a guide for Carthaginians involved in the first four steps of the Grant Life Cycle. Adherence to the schedule outlined in the Routing & Authorization Timeline will ensure adequate completion of the Routing & Authorization Form and compliance with Carthage policies.
Two-Part On-Line Routing & Authorization System
Once you have developed your project idea & identified a potential funding source, you are ready to initiate the routing & authorization process and develop your proposal (STEP 3 of the Grant Life Cycle). Completion of the routing and authorization process is required and must be completed prior to the submission of any proposal. Use the MY GRANT PORTAL to complete this 2-PART on-line process and ensure you have the full support and approval of Carthage College before submitting your proposal.
If PART B of the routing & authorization process is not received a minimum of 10 business day prior to the proposal deadline, may place their proposal submission at risk. All sponsored program (grant) related applications are required to secure the College’s endorsement, regardless of amount, and regardless of whether or not you are partnering with another institution. This includes initial letters of interest/inquiry and all subaward contracts. The MY GRANT PORTAL ensures all proposals secure the full support and approval of Carthage College prior to the submission of an application.
