Annual Events Sponsored by Staff Council
Faculty and Staff in the Caf
Once a month, all faculty and staff are invited to lunch in the Dining Commons paid for by the Staff Council. This event provides an opportunity for faculty and staff to get out of their offices and enjoy lunch with colleagues whom they might not get to socialize with very often. Sodexo also provides a table of sweet treats for the event! So grab your colleagues and head over to the Caf at the next event.
Christmas Festival Dress Rehearsal
Along with the Center for Faith and Spirituality, Staff Council invites staff and faculty to attend the final dress rehearsal of the annual Carthage Christmas Festival. Christmas Festival tickets sell out every year so this event is an opportunity to watch the program in person while avoiding the crowds. The dress rehearsal features the Service of Light candle-lighting ceremony. Staff Council also sponsors a reception for attendees prior to the dress rehearsal.
Faculty & Staff Night Out at the Theatre
In collaboration with the Carthage Theatre department, each spring the Staff Council hosts a wine and cheese reception prior to the chosen theatre performance with a pre-show discussion with one of the directors.
