As you begin your first year at Carthage, you are going to have questions. While there are many resources on campus to support you, sometimes you just want advice from someone who has been there. That’s where your Peer Coach can help.
Every first-year Carthage student is assigned a Peer Coach through their College Success Seminar. Peer coaches are sophomores, juniors, or seniors who can help you:
- Get involved in campus activities.
- Join a student organization.
- Make the most of campus resources and services, such as the Writing Center, Center for Student Success, and The Aspire Center.
- Connect with Carthage faculty, staff, and other students.
- And much more.
Peer Coaches also act as thought-partners, helping freshmen explore big questions about life, leadership, and the college experience; and as peer advisors, passing on lessons from their own Carthage experiences. If you have questions about peer coaching at Carthage, contact the Center for Student Success, 262-551-5800.
