Prof. James Richie receives poetry award nomination
This summer, James Richie, adjunct associate professor and Intellectual Foundations instructor, published a translation of an excerpt from Mexican poet Víctor Cabrera’s book “WIDE SCREEN” in the prestigious literary journal Hayden’s Ferry Review.
Hayden’s Ferry Review announced on social media that they nominated Prof. Richie’s translation for the Best of the Net (Poetry) Awards for 2025. The acknowledgement is exciting, as Prof. Richie is the only translation nominated by the journal for the award.
